I made the Big Move!

I’ve wanted to live in the northwest close to the ocean nearly all of my adult life. In March 2026 I made that dream come true! I’m now living in Hoquiam Washington, in Grays Harbor County. My place is 0.8 miles from the closest access to the harbor itself.

I’ll post a video tour over on YouTube in the near future. You can check out my channel in the meantime.

Look for more updates soon as my transition is completed. I’ll be at several festivals later this summer and early fall here in western Washington.

It is so green and beautiful here, with clean air, friendly people, and there are flowers everywhere, at least during the spring so far. Included in this post are photos of my garage pottery studio and my dedicated kiln room where my propane fired kiln is waiting for it’s first test in it’s new home. My new place is an absolutely ideal playground for a pottery artist and watercolor painter like me!
